Mississippi gas stations have a reputation for serving up some of the best food in the state—or at least being located near some killer locally owned restaurants.

Blink and you might miss Zaap Thai Kitchen, a restaurant tacked onto the Oxford Spot gas station on North Lamar Blvd. serving up authentic Thai cuisine locals can’t get enough of (seriously, just see the Yelp reviews).
