A Jackson County Grand Jury indicted an Ocean Springs man Friday on sexual battery and molestation charges. Investigators say more victims may exist, however, so additional charges are possible.

Bobby Walker Jr., 45, who made news headlines on the Gulf Coast over the last few years for hosting airmen from Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi at his home for Thanksgiving, was jailed Tuesday, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell reported.

The sheriff said the charges against Walker stem from an alleged incident involving two teenage girls that occurred at Walker’s home nearly two years ago in the Gulf Park Estates subdivision.

Investigators ask that anyone with information about possible other incidents contact the sheriff’s office at 228-769-3063 or 228-769-3045.

The Sun Herald newspaper reported that Walker’s Thanksgiving events started with approximately two-dozen Air Force airmen in 2015 and had grown to more than 75 airmen in 2017. Gulf Coast residents and businesses had generously donated to help Walker, the newspaper reported.
