He then collided with a car containing Jared Develle Brinner, 30, 2501 Culkin Road, and Ron Lydell Hedrick, 32, 102 McGraw St., Pattison, on Warrenton Road near USA Pawn. The impact caused the car to burst flames. Both men were declared dead at the scene.

In another case, Rondell Freeman, 53, 913 China St., was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault-extreme indifference.

He is accused of dragging his girlfriend with his car during an argument.

According to police reports, Freeman and his girlfriend were traveling in his car July 27, 2018, when they got into an argument and the girlfriend asked to be let out of the car.

As she was getting out of the car in the 900 block of China Street, Freeman hit the accelerator and tried to leave, causing the woman to fall and suffer scrapes to her back and head.
