Find out which six Mississippi food facilities received low health inspection marks last week

Six Mississippi food establishments received poor marks last week by the Mississippi Department of Health’s inspectors earning C grades, the lowest given.

Fast Trip, 2215 Clearly Road, Florence, cited for not having a certified manager on site, not providing adequate hand washing facilities. It was the third C score the facility had received since 2008.

Store of Oxford, 192 Highway 30 East, Oxford, cited for not providing adequate hand washing facilities. It was the second C score the facility had received since 2012.

Cazadores Grill, 1635 Pass Road, Biloxi, cited for not properly dating and disposing of old food. Last week’s inspection was the 10th time the facility had been inspected and given a C since 2013.

McDonald’s, 1196 Highway 49 South, Richland, cited for improper hand washing facilities and food preparation surfaces not being sanitized (both were corrected while the inspector was on site). Also cited for having an improperly constructed, supplied or cleaned bathroom. It was the second time since 2015 the facility had received a C score.

M&M Crawfish, 600 North Archusa Avenue, Quitman, cited for having inadequate hot and cold water supplies. It was only the first time the facility had received a C score since 2015. All previous rankings were As.

Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company (kitchen), 7030 Roscoe Turner Road, Kiln, cited for the observed presence of insects and/or rodents. It was the first C score for the facility, since 2017. All prior inspections resulted in A scores.
