Suspect in Mississippi bank robbery nabbed returning from Mexico

Police believe they have nabbed the suspect in the robbery of a Mississippi bank last month.

The suspect, who has a criminal history including previous bank robbery charges, was taken into customer Saturday at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston after returning from Mexico.

The suspect, 37-year-old Iconic Facce of Ashford, Alabama, was bandaged heavily in the arrest photo released by police, potentially as a result of recent plastic surgery.

Facce, who is also known as Jimmy Maurice Lewis, is believed to have walked into a BancorpSouth Bank in Gulfport on March 22, handed the teller a note demanding money and they leaving the bank.

Lewis was convicted of Bank Robbery in 2008 after robbing a bank in Decatur, Alabama.

Facce is being held in the Harris County Jail in Texas awaiting extradition to Mississippi.
