The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency reported a tornado has been confirmed just west of Jackson.

MEMA tweeted, “Confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornodo was located 7 miles southwest of Raymond or 14 miles southwest of Clinton, moving northeast at 45 mph. Get to your safe place now!”

Tornado warnings have been popping up all across central and southern Mississippi today as a strong line of storms is crossing the state.
