Crose was ordered to pay $1,000 to the Children’s Trust Fund, $300 to the Crime Victims Fund and register as a sex offender.

“The abuser in these types of cases is usually someone in a position of trust,” Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood said. “I cannot stress enough the importance of being aware of suspicious actions and reporting such to authorities, because it could save an innocent child’s life.”

This case was prosecuted by Special Assistant Attorneys General Brandon Ogburn and Tina Herron of the AG’s Cybercrime Unit.

A total of 170 people have been convicted of child exploitation crimes to date by General Hood’s ICAC Task Force.
