The older brother of the man charged with killing a Biloxi police officer was arrested Monday night, charged with accessory after the fact.

Davian Atkinson, 21, was booked into the Harrison County Jail late Monday after the arrest of 19-year-old Darian Tawan Atkinson. WLOX TV reported local law enforcement confirmed Davian Atkinson is Darian Atkinson’s brother.

Darian Atkinson is charged with the Sunday night capital murder of veteran Biloxi police officer Robert McKeithen. He was the subject of a nearly 24-hour, intense manhunt from late Sunday night through early Monday evening. He was arrested in Wiggins when an off-duty Biloxi police officer spotted him on the side of a road and called local police.
