Some rivers in south Mississippi are still rising after heavy rains over the weekend caused flooding that forced road closures.

The National Weather Service says the Wolf River north of Gulfport is likely to crest late Monday at a flood stage of 15.5 feet.

Forecasters say that means some homes and businesses near the river are likely to flood and several roads will be underwater.
