Police investigators believe Wanya’s brother, Darian Tawan Atkinson, shot McKeithen in the back outside the Biloxi police station.

Wanya Atkinson’s bond was set at $500,000. Darian’s other brother, Davian Lewanika Atkinson, was also arrested for allegedly helping his brother after the murder.

In addition, three others have also been charged as being accessories after the fact including: Andre Anderson Sullivan Jr., Joshua Michael Kovach and Dalentez Latavian Brice.

Police believe Sullivan, Kovach and Brice all provided Darian with clothes after the incident and they believe Davian Atkinson gave his brother a ride and allowed him to use his cell phone while he was eluding arrest.
