Law enforcement, family searching for missing 15-year-old Mississippi girl

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation announced Friday it was searching for a missing teenage girl.
MBI has issued an endangered/missing child alert for Layla Makay Carter of Senatobia, located in Tate County, Mississippi.
Carter is described as a white female, 5-feet, 8-inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen Thursday, May 23, at approximately 5:30 a.m., in the 100 block of Evergreen Drive in Tate County, wearing a dark jacket, white shorts, and possibly carrying a pink back pack.
