Jackson Police report a 16-year-old girl was shot and killed late Wednesday night when someone drove past her house and fired shots from the car.

Police responded to a shots fired call from Larchmont Drive and found the 16-year-old female unconscious. She was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Jackson media reported the victim was identified as Jaleisa Everett.

Police investigators reported that they had no suspects as of late Wednesday, but the investigation was continuing.
