Critically wounded bounty hunters shot on duty improve, remain hospitalized

The condition of two bounty hunters who were shot Tuesday while they were working to locate someone who had jumped bail has improved, but both remained hospitalized Friday.

The website AL.com identified the pair as Charles Foster, 44, and Sandra Roson, 52, both of the Mobile, Alabama, area.

Moss Point Police reported that two bail bond recovery agents were shot multiple times Tuesday night while they were parked outside a Moss Point church.

They were originally taken Singing River Hospital, but were eventually transferred to a Jackson hospital for surgery. The website reported their condition had improved from critical to stable Friday.
