Deputies say a Mississippi man fired a gun at a lost propane gas delivery truck driver.

Jones County deputies tell WDAM-TV that Tommy Plisco was arrested Wednesday and charged with aggravated assault. Bail was set at $10,000. It’s unclear whether Plisco has a lawyer.

The arrest came after deputies were called to Plisco’s home and interviewed the truck driver. He tells deputies he mistakenly pulled onto Plisco’s property, knocked on the door, and was preparing to leave after no one answered.

The driver says Plisco came out yelling, accusing him of trespassing.

Deputies say Plisco fired and hit the driver’s side of the truck three times. Deputies say Plisco told investigators he threatened to kill the driver because the driver hit a fig tree.

The driver denies hitting the tree.
