Man pretending to be an accident victim, pushed his way into a woman’s car to steal it and her; fortunately she escaped
A Mississippi woman reported being carjacked Friday from a man who claimed to be an accident victim and need help before then forcing himself into the car.
Jackson media reported the woman, a 56-year-old, was at the First Deliverence Church on Raymond-Bolton Road Friday afternoon when approached by the man.
He told her he’d been in an accident and needed help in an attempt to disarm the woman.
When he pushed his way into the car, the woman fought back and eventually escaped before he drove off with her car.
The stolen car was recovered approximately a mile from the scene. A witness reportedly saw the man leaving the area in a dark colored, Buick.
