It’s unclear whether the driver or a passenger was injured.

A vehicle with a bullet hole in the front windshield was loaded onto a tow truck after the shooting.

Southaven police referred reporters to DeSoto County District Attorney John Champion for comment. The prosecutor said Thursday that he wasn’t immediately ready to talk. No criminal charges have been announced.
