A Yazoo County man was apparently killed Friday after he was mauled by a bull.

Jackson area media report Yazoo County Coroner Ricky Shivers confirmed the death of 84-year-old Lester Eley Ingram of the Vaughan community.

The attack apparently happened after Ingram opened a gate at his barn Friday morning.

Shivers told media outlets that he believed the bull pushed Ingram into a hog wire fence, then attacked him.

The death has been ruled accidental.
