An Alabama man who pleaded guilty to raping and sexually abusing children received a more than 600-year sentence last week.

Local media reported that Raven Nathaniel Smith, 35, was indicted on numerous sexual abuse charges stemming from crimes committed over several years.

He pleaded guilty last week in a Houston County, Alabama, courthouse.

Smith’s victims reportedly ranged between ages 12 and 16.
