Mississippi sheriff’s deputies shot and killed a suspected shooter last week after the man reportedly aimed handguns at the deputies.

The Meridian Star reported that Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a shooting Wednesday and while investigating encountered a man who was hiding from them.

When they demanded the man raise his hands and come of hiding, he reportedly pointed two handguns at the deputies.

The deputies shot and killed him. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is working the investigation because the matter involves an officer-involved shooting.
