Police say a 14-year-old whose body was found shot dead in a Southaven neighborhood last week may have been shot by a homeowner during an attempted home invasion.

The body of Christopher Cooper, 14, was found in the middle of an intersection, dead from a suspected gunshot wound.

Police arrested three people last week and charged them in connection to the death.
