Jackson Police are investigating the death of a pedestrian who was killed early Wednesday after being struck by two cars on an interstate.

Police say they do not know why the man was walking on the interstate, but that he was struck by two cars on Interstate 220-North near Industrial Drive.

Both motorists who struck the man stopped and were at the scene when police arrived. Police have not released the name of the victim.
