A joint investigation Thursday by Vicksburg police, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, the Mississippi Gaming Commission and the FBI Task Force into complaints of prostitution resulted in the arrest of five people, Sheriff Martin Pace said.

He said four women and one man were arrested in the Thursday night sting operation. All are charged with misdemeanor prostitution.

Two were booked at the Vicksburg Police Department and three at the Warren County jail. Four of the people were released on bond, while one remained at the county jail on a hold issued by the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
