Mississippi man driving in wrong lane collides with 18-wheeler, dies from injuries

A Mississippi man was killed early Monday after his vehicle collided head-on with an 18-wheeler near Vicksburg.
Mississippi Highway Patrol troopers report Dontrel Gibson, 34, of Port Gibson was driving southbound in the northbound land of U.S. 61 when he go into the path of a northbound Forest Products semi-truck.
The driver of the semi was not injured, troopers reported.
How Gibson’s vehicle wound up in the wrong lanes is under investigation.
