Two killed when their car crashes during police chase in Mississippi

Two people were killed early Saturday morning during a police chase.

Hernando Police told WREG-TV in Memphis that officer attempted to stop a vehicle at approximately 4:20 a.m. Saturday morning when the driver began running from police, refusing to stop.

Police reported the driver entered Interstate-55 going the wrong way on an exit ramp and continued driving north in the southbound lad until the car struck a guard rail, ejecting several occupants, two of which died from their injuries.

FOX-13 in Memphis identified the victims as Kristopher Ford and Jessie L. White, both 20 and both from Memphis.
