A shooting at a Mississippi Walmart has left two people dead and two others, including a police officer, injured.
Memphis area media report the shooting occurred early Tuesday at a Walmart store in Southaven, Mississippi, near Memphis.
Reportedly, the two people who were killed were Walmart employees.
One of the injured is said to be a Southaven police officer who was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries as he was shot while wearing a bullet resistant vest.
The other injured person is allegedly the shooter, a former Walmart employee.
WREG-TV in Memphis reports the former employee and alleged shooter was suspended on Monday after being accused of pulling a knife and threatening a store customer.
Although unclear exactly, it would appear the terminated employee returned to the store this morning to take revenge.
