A Mississippi woman was killed Thursday in Walker County, Alabama, when her car collided with a tractor-trailer, Alabama State Troopers reported.

Scottie Cheyanne Logan, 23, of Hamilton, Mississippi, was killed when the 2013 Chevrolet Cruze she was driving struck a 2016 Volvo tractor-trailer on Interstate 22, near Carbon Hill, just after noon Thursday, state troopers reported.

The truck driver was not injured and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
