Mississippi high school football player hospitalized after collapsing during practice

A Mississippi high school football player has been hospitalized after collapsing during football practice.
News outlets report Madison County Schools officials say the player, whose name and age were not released, was walking on a track at Madison Central High on Tuesday afternoon when he collapsed.
In a news release, school officials said trainers immediately stepped in to provide aid and the student was quickly transported by ambulance to the hospital.
