Mississippi inmate dies in county jail hours after his arrest; investigation under way

A Mississippi man arrested Friday was found dead in his cell less than 10 hours later.
The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reported that Tupelo Police arrested 57-year-old Vincent Frank Leone for disorderly conduct-failure to comply after a local hotel called police after trying to evict Leone over noise complaints.
Leone was incarcerated in the Lee County Jail where he was found unconscious at approximately 3 a.m. Saturday.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is leading an investigation into Leone’s death.
