Witnesses told police that a suspect nicknamed “Worm” shot Jones, then walked to his car and drove away. Investigators eventually identified “Worm” as Klines, and arrested him about two weeks later.

The case is being handled by Chief Prosecutor Stephanie Johnson of the DA’s Vertical Prosecution Team 2 which handles cases from General Sessions Division 9 and Criminal Court Division 2.
