Three Natchez men were charged earlier this week in a Tuesday arson case, law officials said.

Adams County Sheriff’s Office officials said deputies responded to a shots fired call near Jason Court at approximately 12:20 a.m. Tuesday and found two vehicles on fire next to a house, Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said.

The Natchez Fire Department arrived to extinguish the fires, Patten said.

One vehicle was completely lost to fire, Patten said, and the other vehicle was damaged. The house had extensive fire damage as well, Patten said.

ACSO investigators later found a third vehicle doused with a liquid they believed to be gasoline.

Preston Bostic, 27, was arrested Thursday and Kendarrius Davis and Cornelius Haynes, both 18, were both arrested Friday after being identified as possible suspects during the investigation, Patten said.

All three men were charged with arson and were being held Friday evening in Adams County jail without bond.

Patten said additional arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
