Mississippi man charged with making terroristic threats

A Mississippi man has been arrested and charged with making terroristic threats on social media.

Meridian, Mississippi, media reported that Abdulkhaliq Murshid was arrested Friday

Police investigators say Murshid was in justice court last week when he allegedly made suspicious comments that were reported and led to a deeper investigation.

That investigation revealed he made comments on social media that were deemed threatening. The exact nature of the threats were not made public.

Murshid was arrested in 2015 and charged with selling synthetic drug called spice. He was out on bond on that charge. His bond was revoked after the new threat charges.
