Mississippi police have identified a man’s body that was found floating in the Mississippi Sound in Biloxi earlier this month.

Biloxi Police reported Tuesday that the body found Oct. 3, was Anthony Blakeney Jr., 43, of Baldwin County, Alabama.

Police report that the man’s autopsy revealed no clear signs of foul play, though the cause of death is still pending awaiting lab results.

The body was found Oct. 3 just south of the Kuhn Street Pier in Biloxi.
