North Mississippi media outlets are reporting that President Donald Trump plans to visit Tupelo next month for a campaign stop in support of GOP gubernatorial candidate Tate Reeves.

The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal and WTVA-TV report city officials have confirmed the planned visit.

Trump has held three Mississippi rallies since becoming president, two to campaign for Republican Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith in 2018 and one personal rally in Southaven, also in 2018.
