Contractor injured in 60-foot fall from Mississippi water tower

A man fell from a water tower being constructed behind the Oxford, Mississippi, Kroger on Tuesday morning.

Oxford Mayor Robyn Tannehill told The Oxford Eagle that the man was a contractor employed by the construction company working on the water tower.

The man fell roughly 60 feet and was airlifted to a nearby hospital, according to Tannehill.
