A 52-year-old Mississippi woman was killed when a train hit her SUV, which was stopped on the tracks, Louisiana State police said Monday.
Nobody on the train was hurt in the crash Sunday east of Dubberly in Webster Parish, Trooper Brent Hardy said in a news release.
He identified the dead woman as Brenda Dills of Moss Point, Mississippi.
She was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from her 2018 Chrysler SUV, he said.
Dubberly is about 39 miles east of Shreveport and about 310 miles east-northeast of Moss Point.
