A Mississippi teenage girl has been indicted by a grand jury for the murder of her mother.

Pike County teenager Amariyona Hall was arrested in January 2019 along with her younger sister after police say the pair stabbed and shot their mom to death outside their home. Amariyona was 14 at the time of her arrest.

Erica Hall’s body was found outside their home and police almost immediately placed the blame on her two daughters. The younger daughter was 12 at the time of her arrest and her case was being handled in the youth court system due to her age.
