Police are investigating after a man’s body was found slain at a park in Jackson, Mississippi.

News outlets report that Jackson police discovered the victim, who had been shot multiple times, Monday morning at a park in the 500 block of Sykes Road.

The man’s identity had not been released Monday afternoon.

Police said on the department’s Twitter page they did not immediately have a suspect or a motive for the killing.
