Coronavirus: Number of cases jumps across South, Louisiana goes up by 22 since this morning, one additional death

More cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus have been reported today across the South, with Louisiana’s number jumping by 22 more cases and one additional death since Monday morning.

Here’s a breakdown, by state, from late afternoon Monday:

Alabama: 29 positive cases, 0 deaths.
Arkansas: 22 positive cases, 0 deaths.
Florida: 137 positive cases, 4 deaths.
Georgia: 121 positive cases, 1 death.
Louisiana: 136 positive cases, 3 deaths. That’s an increase of 22 more since this morning’s update.
Mississippi: 12 positive cases, no deaths.
Tennessee: 52 positives cases, no deaths.
