One Mississippi prison escapee captured, one still on loose

One of two inmates who escaped Tuesday afternoon in Wilkinson County was captured Wednesday afternoon.

Escapee Bobby Charles Morgan, 23, was arrested in the Biloxi area.

Morgan and fellow state inmate Caleb Andrew Johnston were discovered missing Tuesday from the Wilkinson County Community Work Center in Woodville.

Johnston is still at large.

He’s described as a white male, green eyes and brown hair and is serving a prison sentence for property crimes.

Johnston, MDOC #204301, is 5 feet 8 inches tall at 155 pounds.

Johnston is serving 16 years for six sentences – two counts of grand larceny, three counts of nonresidential burglary, and vehicle burglary, all in Franklin County. He was first sentenced in August 2016.
