Search crews worked continued searching for a Mississippi father who is believed to have drowned Sunday after jumping in the Ross Barnett Reservoir to help his son.

Crews searched Tuesday before weather conditions made the search too dangerous for divers.

Justin Perkins, 33, was boating with family members Sunday afternoon when he reportedly saw his 5-year-old son getting too far from the boat. Perkins is said to have jumped into the water, helped get his son back to the boat, then submerged into the water and never resurfaced.
