A Mississippi sheriff says narcotics investigators have begun to see cases of potentially dangerous drugs are being made to look like candy.

Madison County Sheriff Randy Tucker says officers have seen the appearance of a synthetic Xanax substance formed into the PEZ candy.

Tucker said some of the drugs found are approximately 2 and one-half times the strength of actual Xanax and potentially could be lethal if mixed with alcohol.
