Mississippi firefighter arrested, charged with statutory rape, sexual battery

A Jackson firefighter was arrested Saturday, charged with statutory rape and sexual battery, a Jackson TV station reported.
Audric R. Simmons, 32, was arrested by Byram police on Saturday, WLBT-TV reported.
Simmons was placed on administrative leave from the fire department, the TV station reported.
