UPDATE: Mississippi authorities canceled the Silver Alert for Mrs. Pittman Monday after she was found safe.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for 83-year-old Frances Pittman of Jackson.

She is described as a black female, 5 feet and 5 inches tall, weighing 154 pounds with grey hair and brown eyes. She has a distinct scar on the right side of her neck.

She was last seen at approximately 2:51 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2020, in the 6000 block of Abraham Lincoln Drive in Hinds County.

Pittman is believed to be in a tan 2013 Honda CRV bearing a Mississippi tag of MEA8345 traveling in an unknown direction.
