Shooting leaves Mississippi teenager dead, five others injured

Mississippi police were investigating a shooting early Sunday that left one teenager dead and five other people injured.
Gulfport police report the shooting occurred just before 1 a.m. Sunday morning to a gathering of more than 100 people.
Six people had been shot. Five had non-life threatening injuries, police report.
Robert Tatum, 18, of Biloxi, was taken to a hospital with a single gunshot wound to the head.
Tatums died a few hours later, police report.
The shooting occurred near South Carolina Avenue and Polk Street.
Tatum’s body will be sent to Jackson for an autopsy.
