An accused looter in Memphis allegedly told police he was merely exercising his “freedom of rights” as he stood outside a Sam’s Club with a brick in his hand.

WREG-TV reported that Kadarius Douglas was arrested by police Monday outside a Sam’s Club on Covington Way after an employee said Douglas broke through the first door to the business and was trying to break the second door.

With a piece of brick reportedly still in his hand, he told police it was his ‘freedom of rights to break into the Sam’s Club.”
