More than half of Mississippi counties saw COVID-19 cases double in two weeks. How is your county doing?

More than 58% of the counties in Mississippi saw the average rate of COVID-19 cases double in a recent two-week period, according to data provided by the Mississippi Department of Health.

In all 48 of Mississippi’s 82 counties saw the average number of cases double in the last two weeks of June.

Last week, the high number of new COVID-19 cases caused the total case volumes to rise by more than 19% across the state. Each of Mississippi’s 82 counties saw an increase in new cases over the prior week, using data provided by the Mississippi State Department of Health Monday and the prior Monday.
