Couple sought for questioning in Mississippi man’s disappearance caught in Colorado

A Picayune, Mississippi, couple who are persons of interest in the missing person case of Willie Ray Jones were taken into custody at approximately 8 p.m. Wednesday, said Assistant Picayune Police Chief Dustin Moeller.

The pair were taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Pueblo, Colorado, at approximately 7:43 p.m. CST, Moeller said. The pair were arrested on warrants for possession of stolen firearms.

The couple will be brought back to the Picayune Police Department for questioning in the disappearance of Willie Jones.

“We’re looking forward to getting them back here and questioning them and hopefully we can dig into the details of this missing persons case and hopefully get this family some answers about Willie,” said Moeller.
