An employee at a Mississippi child care worker has been charged with assaulting a 7-month-old child, a Hattiesburg TV station reported.

WDAM-TV reports that Stephanie Entrekin faces two misdemeanor assault charges filed by the family of the 7-month-old boy.

The family reports that they saw Entrekin on a video pick up their child by one arm, swing him in the air and let go, allowing him to fall on the ground.

The child reportedly fell on his face and head but was uninjured.

The incident happened at Creative Kids child care center. The owner had no comment to WDAM other than to say they were aware of the situation.

Entrekin bonded out, the TV station reported.
