Police on the Mississippi Gulf Coast have identified the man who was killed Sunday morning when two boats collided.

Jackson County Coroner Bruce Lynd said the victim was Calvin Brewer, 57, WLOX-TV reported. The boat on which he was on collided with another boat on the Pascagoula River near Escatawpa.

Two boats collided and Brewer was killed after blunt force trauma. Three minors on the second boat received minor injuries, the TV station reported.

Agents with the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks are investigating the accident.
