A teenager stole a 4-wheeler and drove it across the Mississippi River bridge in Natchez and miles into the county Thursday night before a sheriff’s deputy noticed the 4-wheeler driving without headlights.

Adams County Sheriff’s Office deputies say the 13-year-old admitted that the 4-wheeler was stolen from Vidalia, Louisiana, just across the Mississippi River from Natchez and that he’d driven the 4-wheeler across the bridge.

The teen was released into the customer of his mother and the 4-wheeler was returned to the owner, who didn’t know it was missing.
